Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and film maker. Apart from her beautiful beauty, her continued success in the film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. Her career began as a fashion model in 1970, her rise quickly to the top of the heap. She studied theatre and acting in the early part of the decade. She then appeared on stage in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable with the character Eden Kendell, in 1987. In her first film Major League two years after she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities in the field of acting, public was enticed by her stamina. The praises were centered around her role on Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak, where she was competing with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. According to her, she was never a fan in acting. After a prolonged vacation, she self-imposed herself on herself to act in 2005. Then, she made her return with Thor. She also starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award-winning film. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies including The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she was a part of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her accomplishments both in and out in the Octagon has made her a household brand since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian who was born on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player as a child. Invicta Fighting Championships was her debut professional bout. She was just 18 and had won two by submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her signed to UFC's strawweight category at the end of December 2014, when she was only 22. Throughout Rose's professional career, she's been through periods of the highs and lows with each times she has come out ahead. In April 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One - becoming not only champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA as this fight marked first time ever that a female fighter had fought for the title of champion within any major promotion organization around the world . Namajunas won several fights following this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
